Hey guys! Just a quick announcement post to let you all know we're going to be at both the virtual and in person Fresher's Fairs this week! The Virtual Fair is taking place today from 10am to 4pm, where at least one of us will be there all day to answer any questions you may have about archery this year along with how to sign up for our beginner's course! You can get a ticket for the online event here: https://tinyurl.com/ze5v7u9y We also have a stall at the in person Fresher's Fair outside the Lanyon Building on Tuesday (28th) from 10am to 5pm so if you managed to get tickets for that, we'd love to meet you in person! Come along and have a chat, we'll be able to give you our sign up form and answer any questions you might have. Unfortunately tickets for the in person event have sold out so if you weren't able to get one and can't make the virtual fair, feel free to drop us a message on our facebook or by email at archery@qub.ac.uk and we can get you sorted with the sign up form and get you onto our mailing list. Finally, we hope to run more social events this year since we've basically had two years without human interaction and it'd be nice to get to know everyone outside of club training times! So if you have any suggestions for any events we could run please do let us know either on Facebook or via email! Currently we have the upstairs of the Speakeasy booked for the 24th October at 7pm where we hope to run a Halloween quiz! (I know you're probably sick of quizzes by now but at least this one isn't on Zoom!) More details for this will follow closer to the time. We'll also be heading for a drink after our first beginner's course sessions, again we'll have more details on this soon but everyone's welcome to come along and hopefully get to know each other a bit better.
